About us
Mission Statement
Kingdom Life church is a community of Christians with a passion to know God intimately, discover our identity fully and to partner with his purposes daily.
Vision
Our vision is Jesus Christ. He is the source, sustainer and leader of his church (Matthew 16:18, Colossians 1:18)
Values
Worship
Our highest privilege is to worship and adore God for who he is (Psalm 150:6, Psalm 103:1)
Listening
God speaks to his church today so we make space to listen to what he is saying and respond accordingly (1 Corinthians 14:26)
Scripture
We are committed to preaching the truth of scripture which has power to transform our lives, liberate us from bondage, and grow us into maturity (2 Timothy 4:2, Ephesians 4:11-12)
Prayer
Every Christian can pray and minister to the Lord as a Kingdom of priests and pray for one another in the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 2:9, Ephesians 6:18)
Communion
We are committed to celebrate communion as a reminder of who Jesus is and what he accomplished for us through his death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Mark 14:22-26)
Spiritual gifts
Every Christian has giftings that are needed and can be expressed for the building up of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:1-11), (Romans 12:6-8)
Relationships
We strive to walk in genuine close relationships by being authentic, meeting one another’s needs, serving each other well, and outdoing one another with good things (James 5:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Honor
We live in honor by speaking to one another’s identity as children of God and calling one another up when we are living contrary to who God says we are (Ephesians 4:15)
Ministry
God places the desire for ministry into the hearts of his people. We support and encourage everyone to pursue God-given passions whether they are used in the church, at home, or in the workplace (psalm 37:4, Matthew 25:14-30)
Service
We have unique giftings to walk in but we are also called to take the low road and serve for the benefit of our brothers and sisters in Christ. (Matthew 20:24-28, Galatians 5:13-14)
Generosity
We value generous living in a response to our Father’s generous nature. Through giving God promises to meet our needs and makes us more generous (2 Corinthians 9:6-10)
What we believe
God is One. He lives eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.
God, in love and grace and sovereignty, sustains, rules, redeems and judges the world he created.
The bible is the divinely inspired Word of God made up of the Old and New Testament Scriptures. His Word is fully trustworthy for faith and action.
All people are valuable and are made in the image of God, created male and female. We are wired to love, be holy and care for creation, yet due to the fall, sin entered and we became subject to wrath and judgment.
Jesus Christ is God’s one and only son. He is God made flesh, born of a virgin. Fully God and fully man, yet without sin.
Jesus atoned for our sins by His sacrifice on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, bringing us back into right relationship with God.
Jesus physically resurrected; He ascended to the Father where he reigns by His side and mediates on our behalf as the only Savior of the world.
Sinners are justified solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
The Holy Spirit is working in the church today. He leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our worship, discipleship and enables our witness. He gives each of us gifts to build up the body of Christ.
Jesus will personally and visibly return to fulfill the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgment, bringing eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.
